Where Neoclassical Grandeur Meets Boutique Luxury

Located in the vibrant heart of Athens, just behind Ermou Street and steps away from the Acropolis, Athens 1890 Hotel & Spa is a unique boutique hotel set within a beautifully restored 19th-century mansion. With only 14 individually designed rooms and suites, some featuring outdoor hot tubs and cathedral views, the hotel offers a refined and tranquil escape surrounded by the city’s rich history and culture.

A Landmark of Athens Reimagined

The building that houses Athens 1890 Hotel & Spa is a rare example of neoclassical architecture, reflecting the commercial and cultural prosperity of late 19th-century Athens. Restored with great care and attention to detail, the property retains original elements such as hand-painted ceilings, a grand wooden staircase, ornate facades, and traditional window detailing. Today, it blends historic authenticity with the comforts of contemporary hospitality.
